THE INFLUENCE OF DIETARY SALVIA AND LAVENDER POWDERS ON PRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE, SOME PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS, AND IMMUNITY OF BROILER UNDER STOCKING DENSITY STRESS

The purpose of this experiment was to increase poultry meat production by increasing the number chickens reared in same area and managing it using medicinal herbs Salvia officinalis L Lavandula angustifolia L. broiler chicken diet. 705 one-day-old chicks were randomly distributed into to7 treatments with three replicates for an two m2 floor system each replicate treatment, during 35 days study. T0 negative control 75 chicks, 25 12-13 per fed standard T1 positive (stocking density without supplementation)105 17-18 stocking T2, T3, T4, T5, T6 have been given feed supplemented herbals, salvia 0.7%, 0.9%, lavender0.7%, mixed 0.7% respectively. Depending on results, stress supplementations led higher improvement body weight, production, weight gain (BWG), conversion ratio(FCR g feed/g weight), index PI, carcass (g) dressing percentage, RBCs 106cells/mm3, lymphocyte%, activity thyroid hormones T4 (nmol/L) boost antibody titers ND IBV when compared control. However, heterophil%, indicator H/L ratio, glucose mg/ dL cholesterol significantly reduced. results showed that adding sage lavender plants is effective improving productivity, immunity, resistance characteristics reducing adverse effects caused intensity rearing area.
